One way to stay present in current customers' minds and continue to keep communication open is to send out newsletters. Every month a newsletter is sent out through the mail and via email. These included community events, recipes, office updates, and short tidbits of insurance related content.
Email Marketing
In addition to the monthly newsletters, automated birthday and holiday messages would be sent. As well as announcements and renewal notices and cross-sale campaigns.
Onboard Welcome Kit
To make new customers feel welcome and make sure they have all the information they could need, a welcome kit with detailed information about the agency, agents, and what to do in the event insurance is needed is sent to each new customer. To sweeten the deal, cookies are included from a local bakery.
Mobile App
Another addition to bringing the agencies' communications up to date is the addition of a mobile app. The mobile app has the ability to view and request policy changes, submit an insurance claim, connect to the agency's contact information and store important documents. This is another way customers can communicate with the agency.
